Thomas Jefferson Wu
Thomas Jefferson Wu is an established businessman who successfully re-engineered his family's listed-businesses in Hong Kong, leading him to his present position as Managing Director of Hopewell Holdings Limited and Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited. He received several awards recognizing good corporate governance practices in the past years, including the Director of the Year Award 2010 by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Wu is active in the government, serving in different government advisory roles in Hong Kong and China, including as a Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of 10th CPPCC. He is also involved in the sports sector, co-founding the Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club in 2001 and establishing the Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey in 2007. In September 2012, he was elected Vice-President (Asia/Oceania) of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Wu holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with high honours from Princeton University.
