Founder and Managing Partner
Tim Levene is Founder and Managing Partner of Augmentum Capital, a venture capital fund that backs dynamic entrepreneurs in the technology and Internet space. Backed by Jacob Rothschild and London-listed RIT Capital Partners, Augmentum has invested in several Internet and software businesses since 2010. Prior, Levene worked with Bain & Company in Moscow, Boston, Sydney and London. He left Bain in early 1998 to create a new retail concept when he opened his first Juice bar (Fresh n Smooth) in 1999 on Canary Wharf. The business has grown to 31 stores across London and is called Crussh. He also joined three former colleagues from Bain & Company and launched Flutter.com, which merged with Betfair.com in 2001 and became one of the most high-profile Internet businesses in Europe. Levene studied Russian at the University of Manchester. He advises The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry on digital strategy.
