Xiang Xi is the Managing Editor of the Southern Weekly, a national weekly newspaper in China. Xiang Xi jointed Nanfang Daily in 1995 as a correspondent, and later became the Deputy Team Leader of the Manoeuvre Correspondent Team, and the Head of the News Centre. In 2001, he was promoted to Deputy Chief Editor of Southern Weekly, then to Editor-in-Chief. In 2003, Xiang Xi established Mangazine, a monthly national magazine focusing on Chinese male elites. In the same year, he organized the Southern Weekly newspapers and acted as Managing Editor. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Nanjing University as well as other universities, and a Member of the National Digital Publishing Standardized Committee. Xiang Xi received his Bachelor's in News and Communication from Nanjing University in 1995. In 2009, he graduated as EMBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Xiang Xi is currently studying for his doctorate in the communication department of Wuhang University.
