Zhang Xin is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SOHO China. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge. A trustee of China Institute in America, Zhang is also a Member of the Asia Business Council. She is well known for her boundless creativity and passion for art and architecture. Besides taking on SOHO China’s overall strategic management, she is responsible for conceptualizing development projects of the firm. Zhang has won many international prestigious awards for her role as a patron of China’s most visionary architecture and as an innovative entrepreneur. She won Business Week’s Stars of Asia Award in 2004 and was awarded a Special Prize at the eighth Biennale di Venezia. She also received the 2004 Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award. In 2007, she was elected one of the Ten Women to Watch in Asia by the Wall Street Journal.
