Should your application be shortlisted, we will invite you to a phone or online interview with an HR manager.
3. Online assessment
Should you successfully pass the phone/online interview, you will be invited to complete an online personality assessment.
4. Face-to-face meeting
Should you successfully pass the online assessment, you will be invited to an Assessment Day at the World Economic Forum in Geneva. The Assessment Day is comprised of the following: a panel interview, group case study, writing assessment and a role play exercise. Success at the Assessment Day will result in an offer of employment at the World Economic Forum.
What are the requirements for the Global Leadership Fellows Programme?
The minimum entry requirements include a master’s degree, a minimum of four years of work experience and strong leadership potential.

When does the actual programme start?
On Monday 28 November. The onboarding week will take place from Monday 28 November to Friday 2 December.
Can I apply if I have not yet completed my master’s degree?
Yes. However, you should have graduated from your degree before the start of the academic modules. Given that these modules begin in November, you should have completed your studies before then. You may be asked to submit proof of graduation.
What are the language requirements of the job?
All candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English. Additional language requirements are specific to the position. It should be noted that the majority of our fellows are fluent in at least one language other than English, even if their job does not explicitly request it.
Do I need recommendation letters?
No. All we require are names and contact details of three references. If you are shortlisted for a position, we will contact your references only after you have given your written agreement.
Where will I be based?
The Global Leadership Fellows Programme is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Your job assignment will be located in one of three locations: Beijing, Geneva or New York.
How will I find out about the status of my application?
You will receive an email from our Talent Acquisition team confirming receipt of your application. You will be contacted for an interview or to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful. Candidates will be contacted as soon as relevant information is available.
How long does the recruitment process take?
It usually takes four to six weeks.
