The latest economic forecasts show the global economy approaching a soft landing. Growth is in recovery, headline inflation is easing and the rapid pace of technological innovation in technologies such as AI is pushing industries forward. But risks and tensions remain. Only with buy-in from all stakeholders and the right levels of cooperation can the next frontiers for growth be unlocked.

Addressing urgent global issues under the theme, 'Next Frontiers for Growth', the meeting will be accessible to the public through the livestreaming of over 50 sessions, including the Opening Plenary, the China Economic Outlook and Cooperation in a Competitive World.

There are six thematic pillars:

1. A new global economy: Balancing priorities like technology acceleration and inclusive growth and explore how coordinated fiscal, trade and industrial strategies can strengthen recovery while curbing inflation.

2.China and the world: China's expanding global technology footprint and increasing expenditure.

3. Entrepreneurship in the age of AI: Rapid evolution, diverse applications, inherent risks, and opportunities of generative AI, while emphasizing the importance of governance aligned with societal values.

4. New frontiers for industries: The challenges and opportunities presented by significant economic, geopolitical, environmental, and technological shifts, helping industries navigate the rapid evolution of technology.

5. Investing in people: Valuable insights and advance coalitions on the future of jobs, exploring the impact of geoeconomic shifts. It will highlight the opportunity in leveraging technology to accelerate education and skill building.

6. Connecting climate, nature and energy: Fostering collaboration to address two of our most critical shared global challenges: the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
