Acha Leke is a Director of McKinsey & Company, Johannesburg. He holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MSc in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Previously, Leke served for three years as part-time consultant for Pacific Monolithics and Spectrian Corporation in California and, in 1998, as a Summer Associate at McKinsey's Johannesburg office. In 1999, he rejoined Atlanta, and moved to South Africa in 2002. He is currently, leading the set-up of McKinsey's office in Nigeria. His client work is split between telecom, oil and gas, banking, private equity and economic development. Leke is Co-Founder and Member of the Board of the African Leadership Academy, a co-educational boarding school that aims to develop the next generation of African leaders.
