Corrado Macchiarelli

Corrado Macchiarelli is a Lecturer in Economics and Finance at Brunel University London and a visiting Research Fellow at the LSE’s European Institute, where he was previously a Postdoc. Beyond his academic endeavors, he worked at the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund and consulted for the European Central Bank, the Swedish Riksbank, and the European Parliament.

His interests mainly lie in the fields of international macro and finance, financial economics, expectation modeling, business cycles, and European economic governance. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Torino (Collegio Carlo Alberto).
