Jeromin Zettelmeyer

Jeromin Zettelmeyer is Director-General for Economic Policy at the German Ministry of the Economy. From 2008 until March of 2014 he was Director of Research and (since July 2010) Deputy Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Prior to that, he spent about 14 years at the International Monetary Fund, mostly in the Research Department. From 2013-2014 he was a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He is also a member (since 2011) of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Fiscal Sustainability. In his current capacity, he represent Germany on the Economic Policy Committee of the OECD.
