Third-generation capsules: What lies ahead for drug delivery
Advances in combination liquid fill and two-in-one capsules will help increase their bioavailability, enabling safer and more effective drugs delivery.
I am lucky to be in pharmaceuticals. It’s an industry where it is possible to strike a balance between doing well and doing good. The icing on the cake is that we can harness the transformative impact of technology – something I truly believe in – in our constant quest for better, safer, and more affordable medicines. In the modern world, it is technology that can convert the power of an idea into an opportunity for growth and the greater good. It is through tech-driven innovations that we have been able to rise to global leadership in pharma manufacturing by serving our clients, partners, and the people at large: vegetarian capsules and liquid-filled capsules for nutraceuticals are two of our several industry firsts.
But wellness is more than medicines. That, and my passion for basketball, makes me lead a talent hunt for the game every year in India under a partnership with the NBA.
