Laura Wellesley

Research Associate, Chatham House

Laura Wellesley is a Research Associate in the Energy, Environment and Resources (EER) department at Chatham House. She works across issues relating to food security and climate change. Laura was previously a project coordinator at Chatham House, managing the EER department's project on forest governance and illegal logging and undertaking related research.

Prior to joining Chatham House, Laura worked as a researcher at Global Witness, with a focus on mineral extraction and governance in Afghanistan. She has an MSc in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of Cambridge.
