Research Analyst, Media, Entertainment and Sport at the World Economic Forum. He is responsible for projects related to socially responsible advertising and gender representation in media and is co-manager for the Global Future Council on Media, Entertainment and Sport. Marcus is a co-author and data lead for the 2018 Inclusive Development Index, an assessment of 103 countries’ economic performance that measures how countries perform on three pillars: growth and development; inclusion and; intergenerational equity. Prior to joining the Forum, he worked in the Public Governance Directorate at the OECD and in management consulting on restructuring and divestment projects in Paris. Marcus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and French from the University of Virginia, an MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School, and a Master’s in Public Policy and Data Analytics from Brown University.
