Mizuho Kida

Economist, World Bank

Mizuho Kida is an Economist with the Development Economics Prospects Group (DECPG) at the World Bank. She contributes to the department's flagship publication -- Global Economic Prospects. Mizuho joined the World Bank as a Young Professional, initially working in the Africa region as well as in the Economic Policy and Debt Department in the PREM Network, working on topics of inclusive growth, economic diversification, small and fragile states, fiscal sustainability, and sovereign debt management. From 2006 and 2009 she worked in the central bank in New Zealand as an advisor on macroeconomic and financial stability issues. Her work has been published in edited volumes, peer-reviewed journals, and as working papers. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Oxford and an M.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics.
