Patrick Struebi is a social entrepreneur, thought leader, and founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fairtrasa, a pioneering social enterprise that lifts marginalized small-scale farmers out of poverty. Patrick founded Fairtrasa in Mexico after a personal epiphany inspired him to leave a successful corporate career in Switzerland and devote himself to impactful business. He has since grown the company into a global group, with 15 companies in 12 countries, impacting over 40,000 direct beneficiaries. For his work with Fairtrasa, Patrick has been selected an Ashoka Fellow, an Endeavor Entrepreneur, a Yale World Fellow, and has been named Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation, the abc* Foundation, Univision, and Visionaris. He is and Adjunct Professor and Gabelli Fellow at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, and a member of the Clinton Global Initiative.
