Tan Yeling

Assistant Professor of Political Science, University of Oregon

Yeling Tan is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Oregon. Her research interests are in global economic governance, with an emphasis on China and the developing world. In 2017-18, she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Princeton-Harvard China and the World Program in Princeton University. Yeling holds a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University (2017), an MPA in International Development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (2011) and a BA (Honors, Distinction) in International Relations and Economics from Stanford University (2002). Apart from research on China and globalization, she has also worked in the public and non-governmental sectors on a range of issues including economic development, international security policy, global governance and governance innovations.
