China Director, World Business Council of Sustainability Development (WBCSD)
Wei Dong Zhou is responsible for setting the strategic direction of all of the projects of WBCSD and in charge of China office operation. He also established China Alliance of Green Consumption and Green Supply Chain (GCSG) as Executive Secretary-General. Also, he is Chief Advisor of Business for Nature (BfN) in China. Mr. Wei Dong Zhou joins WBCSD with more than 20 years of experience in Chinese government, non-profit organization management, sustainability strategy, Climate & Nature, and multinational companies.
Prior to joining WBCSD, Mr. Zhou established TSC China office as Managing Director for 5 years. Before that, he worked as Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) China General Manager for 8 years. At BSR, Wei Dong founded the China offices in Beijing and Guangzhou, providing advice and counsel to BSR's member companies and their sustainable supply chain partners for CSR and Sustainability issues.
Mr. Zhou graduated from Qingdao University of Science & Technology with his Bachelor's Degree in Machinery Engineering and later obtained his master’s degree in Asian Business Studies from the University of London (SOAS) in UK.
