Global Future Council on Energy Transition

Council mission and objectives
The scale and pace of the ongoing energy transition will be affected by the actions taken by business and governments in response to the COVID-19 health and economic shocks. The Global Future Council on Energy Transition will provide a vision for the transition to a more sustainable, inclusive and affordable post-COVID world. It will convene thought leaders from the energy and finance industries, academia and civil society to provide a perspective on progress, identify barriers to the energy transition in both developing and developed regions, and seek to build consensus and incubate policy measures that could accelerate the transition.
