Global Future Council on the New Economic Agenda

Today’s long-term economic outlook is marked by a strong tension: between the potential of emerging technologies to advance human welfare and the increasingly uneven way in which such progress is being distributed. The Global Future Council on the New Economic Agenda will spearhead new economic thinking on how to collectively steer recent technological shifts towards positive, inclusive and equitable economic outcomes. Under the umbrella of the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the New Economy and Society, the council will collaborate particularly closely with the Global Future Council on the New Social Contract to guide a Global Dialogue Series. The council will also collaborate closely with the Global Future Council on New Metrics.
