Policymakers can ensure the 4IR is fairer than the last three
Recent citizen activism may be crucial if the Fourth Industrial Revolution is also to be a First Empowerment Revolution that benefits people and the planet.
Ethical alignment and responsible research are essential for technological development. The Global Future Council on Values, Ethics and Innovation will focus on how values and ethics are embedded in technological development, and how we can build collaboration among enterprises, policy-makers, and social leaders to serve the greater good. The council will examine related educational curricula, entrepreneurial values, and organizational culture, and reach a consensus on best practices for a sustainable and inclusive future.
