During its 2016-18 term, the Council acts as an expert advisory committee and “think tank” in the World Economic Forum’s System Initiative on Education, Gender and Work, which brings together all the activities of the Forum on these themes in a systemic way, and explores issues such as defining the core features of a future-ready education ecosystem, creating the right framework for increased participation of women in the 21st century workplace and identifying successful talent strategies, policies and regulations for emerging labour markets and the Future of Work.
