Coming together one year after the First Movers Coalition launch at COP27, Secretary John Kerry and Børge Brende, President, World Economic Forum, will share exciting announcements on the progress that has been made to date, including the expansions to new sectors, companies, and government partners.

FMC commits $12 billion to Commercialize Zero-Carbon Tech.

The cement and concrete industry is the latest sector to be added to the coalition, in addition to the work currently being done on steel, aluminum, aviation, shipping, trucking, and advanced carbon dioxide removal solutions, with a total of 65 members which combine for ~$8 trillion in market capitalization. Join Secretary Kerry and key government officials and global CEOs as they announce a major expansion of the First Movers Coalition to decarbonize the global economy.

The USA and Norway join forces on a green industrial partnership:

Norway is the first partner country in the American industrial coalition First Movers Coalition. Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Christian Vestre received the US special envoy for climate change, John Kerry in Oslo on Friday 6 May, together with CEO of Yara Svein Tore Holsether.
