The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with Accenture, invites you to join the 'Urban Energy Transitions: Cities Leading the Way to Clean Electrified Futures' session during COP26. This session builds on the work of the Forum’s Net Zero Carbon Cities program through a 75-minute dialogue on urban decarbonization with city and business leaders. In this session, we will bring to life our recently launched Toolbox of Solutions, a digital platform containing over 200 best practices and case studies for policy, business, and finance models. The session includes an interactive exercise to identify targeted near-term actions with the City of Dundee to accelerate their journey to net zero.
The COP26 summit presents a pivotal opportunity to bring together the public and private sector to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
on the challenges and opportunities in their cities
