Over 2000 Participants at the Open Forum Davos

Six panels with up to 470 participants in the sometimes overfilled hall demonstrated the relevance of the themes of the ninth Open Forum Davos organised by the Federation of Swiss Protestant Churches and the World Economic Forum.

From 27th to 29th January the Open Forum Davos offered for the ninth time a public platform for a controversial critical dialogue between more than 2000 participants and thirty panelists from economics and politics, science and church, sport and medicine.

The Open Forum Davos ended with a far-reaching theme in the framework of the annual meeting: Burnout – a matter of fashion? The engaged debate marked out the dimensions of a phenomenon which is more and more becoming a problem for the whole of society.

“We had again this year an open conversation in open surroundings“, said FSPC President Gottfried Locher. “Once again the partnership between the World Economic Forum and the Federation of Swiss Protestant Churches has been a success.”
