China Datang

Established in 2002, China Datang is a state-owned mega energy enterprise directly managed by the central government, with a registered capital of 37 billion yuan. Its main businesses cover electricity, coal chemicals, finance, environmental protection, commercial logistics, and emerging industries. As at end 2024, the installed capacity of power generation exceeded 200 million kilowatts. The assets in service and under construction are distributed in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government), the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and countries and regions such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia. It has been among the Fortune Global 500 for 15 consecutive years.
