Hoa Sen Group (HSG)

Hoa Sen Group started as a steel outlet established in 2001 with a capital of VND 30 billion ($2 million) and 23 employees. It is now one of the largest steel sheet companies in South-East Asia, with total revenues of nearly $800 million in fiscal year 2014-2015, export revenues of $314 million and a market capitalization of $190 million as of 31 December 2015. It has seven subsidiaries, representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, and 190 retail outlets.
