Hybrid Social Solutions (HSSi)

Hybrid Social Solutions (HSSi) is eradicating energy poverty in the Philippines by building a grid-less solar electricity network that enables unelectrified villagers to acquire their own personal solar power plants and enjoy electricity indefinitely. Since 2010, HSSi's solar-powered solutions have helped over 270,000 people improve their quality of life at home, reduce spending on energy, augment their livelihoods, enhance educational and health outcomes, and recover from natural disasters. HSSi is replicating its solar hubs, solar value chains, and solar programmes so it can connect all 40,000 unelectrified villages nationwide to its hybrid solar network.
