Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Hyliion designs, develops and sells electrified powertrain solutions to be installed on class 8 commercial trucks, with the goal of transforming the commercial transportation industry’s environmental impact at scale. Hyliion’s flagship product, the Hypertruck ERX, is an electric powertrain system charged by an onboard natural gas generator that aims to provide emissions reductions, lower operating costs, and superior performance. By leveraging existing infrastructure and lower fuel pricing, Hyliion is able to provide an electrified solution to commercial fleets despite industry constraints.
