Last Mile Health

Founded by survivors of Liberia’s civil war, Last Mile Health’s mission is to save lives in the world’s most remote communities. Last Mile Health partners with governments to deploy, sustain and manage national networks of community health professionals to extend quality services to people living at the last mile. The organization is supporting the Government of Liberia to implement a nationwide community health worker programme that will bring lifesaving care to 1.2 million people living in remote communities. Last Mile Health has been recognized with a Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship (2017) and the TED Prize (2017).
