National Physical Laboratory (NPL)

The National Physical Laboratory, the UK's national measurement institute, is a science and technology laboratory employing 800 people. The climate and environment team (~150 people) measures the Earth's climate, detects emissions leaks for industry, monitors air quality, and verifies the performance of low-carbon technologies and sensors.
