Penrose Studios

Penrose Studios is an independent augmented and virtual reality pioneer. The company creates fully immersive computer-generated worlds that are experienced through captivating stories in VR. The San Francisco-based start-up is known for its innovation in virtual reality that liberates the imagination and allows viewers to transcend the confines of reality. Its first feature VR movie, "The Rose and I", was featured in the New Frontier exhibit at Sundance Film Festival in 2016. The studio’s second feature film, "Allumette", premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016. Penrose Studios was founded in 2015 by Eugene Chung.
