The largest affiliated company is POSCO, a leading global steelmaker; headquartered in Korea, it has served as a backbone of national economic development since its founding in 1968. Today, under a holding company governance structure, POSCO Holdings has identified new growth businesses in rechargeable battery materials and hydrogen among other projects.
