SustainAbility

A for-profit hybrid, combining elements of a consultancy, think tank and public interest group, founded in 1987. It helped create the green consumer movement in the late 1980s and introduced the concept of the triple bottom line in 1994. It has pioneered in corporate governance, auditing, corporate non-financial reporting and the business case for corporate responsibility and sustainable development. It has offices in Zurich, London, Washington DC and a client list which includes many of the world's best-known companies. A key part of its strategy is to focus on emerging economies.
