Unipol Group is an industry leader in the non-life insurance business in Italy and a dominant player in Europe. The group operates in the insurance services sector mainly through its parent company Unipol Assicurazioni, with listings on the Italian Stock Exchange, FTSE MIB and MIB ESG indexes. The group recorded direct insurance income of €15.1 billion as at 31 December 2023, of which €8.7 billion in non-life income and €6.4 billion in life income. The group is also active in health protection and supplementary pensions, is present in the banking assurance channel, and operates in the banking, real estate, hotel and agricultural sectors.
