Alberto de Rosa

Chief Executive Officer, Ribera Salud

Alberto de Rosa has been the Ribera Salud group’s managing director since 2007 and he is CEO since 2013. He has had an extensive career in the health sector, with over 25 years’experience managing different hospitals. In 1998, he was appointed as managing director of the La Ribera de Alzira Hospital (Valencia), the first public hospital in Spain managed under a PPP model, based on a capitated payment system and the integration between hospital and primary care. His appointment in 2007 as Managing Director of Ribera Salud group coincided with the consolidation of the so-called ‘Alzira Model’, a benchmark in health care management in our country, demonstrated by its national and international expansion. Alberto is a graduate in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Valencia, MBA from ESADE and Master in Health Care Management.
