Associate degree in Applied Mathematics at ULP Strasburg, Bachelor's degree in Economics and Master's in Financial Markets & Banking, Sorbonne University, Paris; Sorbonne-NYU Exchange Program-Master's in Financial Mathematics, New York University. Nearly 30 years experience in investment banking and investing with a focus on Africa since 2004. Currently Chair of Vision Invest Africa Advisory Board. Worked in various financial centers including New York, London, Dubai and Lagos. Founding CEO of FONSIS (Sovereign Wealth Fund of Senegal for Strategic Investments). Former Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal and former Vice President for Power, Energy, Climate Change and Green Growth at the African Development Bank. Twice volunteered with the TOKTEN programme, sponsored by the United Nations as Lecturer, University Gaston Berger of Saint Louis, Senegal. Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum (2012) and YGL Aliko Dangote Fellow.
