Andras is the Co-founder and CEO of Modern Meadow. Previously, Andras co-founded Organovo (NASDAQ: ONVO), which commercialized 3D bioprinting to create human tissues for pharmaceutical research and medical applications. Organovo's bio-printer was named one of the top inventions of 2010 by Time Magazine and the company was recognized by MIT Technology Review on its TR50 list of most innovative companies for 2012 as well as by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer in 2015. As a founder, Andras served as Board Director from inception in 2007 through IPO and beyond until 2013. In parallel, Andras served as Managing Director with Richmond Global, an international technology-focused venture fund and as a consultant with McKinsey focused on biopharma and private equity. Formerly, he helped found Citigroup's investment banking e-commerce group and developed award winning online products for bank. Andras is also the co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of the international non-profit Resolution Project. He serves as an Advisory Board Member for Fast Company China and on the Global Futures Council on Consumption for the World Economic Forum. He is an advisor for Perfect Day Foods, Rooster Biotechnologies and formerly a Board Observer for LearnVest (HCF Alexa von Tobel), AdChina (CFP Alan Yan), and Voxiva. He is a frequent speaker at conferences including TEDGlobal, Founders Forum, TechCrunch Disrupt, Techonomy, Founders Forum, BIO World Congress, DLD, Wired, MIT EmTech, Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture, etc. He was Kauffman Fellow with the Center for Venture Education, a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations and named to Crain's New York "40 Under 40" list in 2016. Andras received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and his AB with honors in Government from Harvard. He is married to Adela and a proud father to daughters Alexa (4 years old) and Amelia (2 years old).
