Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne; degree in Management Sciences, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Swiss businessman and pilot. Former: Pilot, Swiss Air Force; positions with McKinsey. Co-founded a risk capital company, started two technology companies, and became involved on the social front, on behalf of the Restos du Cœur and helping the sick. Co-Founder, Solar Impulse project. Member: Young Presidents' Organization; Organisation of Chief Executives. July 2015, completed the longest historical flight from Nagoya to Hawaii in 5 days and 5 nights.
