Anton Kotov is heading Strategy, Business Development, and Digital at ABB Electrification Business globally. Within his role, Anton drives the $13 billion Business’ organic and external development, portfolio transformation, as well as the digital agenda. Prior to joining ABB in 2017, Anton spent 10 years in various roles at Schneider Electric where he was driving Business Optimization for the global Installation Systems & Control Business Unit, worked on various strategy projects and M&A deals within the Corporate Strategy & Development team, and most lately held a position of Strategy VP for Global Segments & Strategic Accounts. Having started his career as a Head of Marketing for Baikal Business Center in Russia, Anton also used to work for Nokia in Helsinki, Finland, before moving to Paris, France. Anton holds the MBA Degree from HEC Paris and IESE Business Schools. He also completed Executive Education Programs on M&A at London Business School and on Strategic Sales at Harvard Business School. Outside office, Anton is a seasoned traveler who visited more than 100 countries. His hobbies include cross-country skiing, playing piano, and composing music. Anton is a French and Russian citizen, and he is based out of Zurich, Switzerland.
