Cina Lawson is Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Togo, building on 14 years of experience in the areas of telecommunications. Previously, as Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at the Orange Group in New York City, she was in charge of identifying business opportunities by monitoring markets and innovative technologies. Prior to that, she worked at Alcatel-Lucent in Paris, providing insight into the communication tools linked to supply chain reforms that were being implemented at the corporate level. Lawson began her career at the World Bank in Washington, DC where she worked on telecom restructuring projects in developing countries focusing on regulatory reforms. She is a graduate of Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). In 2012, Forbes magazine ranked her among the 20 most powerful young women in Africa.
