Daniel Moss writes and edits columns on global economics for Bloomberg View, the commentary and opinion pages of Bloomberg News in New York. Immediately prior to his current role, Moss was Bloomberg's executive editor for global economics, directing worldwide coverage of central banks, finance ministries, economic indicators, and international financial institutions. Moss joined Bloomberg in 1994 in Sydney and led teams in Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, London and Washington. A regular contributor to Bloomberg Television, he is co-host of Bloomberg Benchmark, a weekly podcast about the global economy. Moss has testified before Congress on government economic releases. Moss is a graduate of the Australian National University. He is a member of the Asia Society (Chairman's Circle), the Aspen Institute (President's Society), the Economic Club of New York and the National Association for Business Economics. He is a director of ANU Foundation USA, which raises money for alma mater. Moss also has an interest in special-needs education. He lives with his wife and family in New York City.
