Since 2009, Founder and Executive Director, Welcoming America, a national US non-profit that helps communities across the country - and increasingly the world - reach their full economic and social potential by becoming more welcoming to immigrants; expertise is in helping local communities adjust to - and seize as an opportunity - demographic change. Welcoming America received an Intercultural Innovation Award in 2014 for it work in promoting intercultural understanding from the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and BMW Group. It also partners with the White House and the US Office of Refugee Resettlement on immigrant and refugee integration initiatives. Ashoka Social Entrepreneurship Fellow; Draper Richards Kaplan Fellow; Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum. Named to the 2015 Chronicle of Philanthropy 40 Under 40 list.
