Kwame Botchway is a multi-faceted professional with a diverse background in impact strategy, urban development, journalism, corporate affairs, and consulting, having worked in North America and Africa. Currently, Kwame is the founder and principal consultant at Citadel Impact Consulting, based in the United States. He also serves as Director of Community Impact and Innovation at Village Capital Corporation, a US-based Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). In this role, he leads the organization's efforts to promote equitable access to capital and impact investment portfolios. In addition to his professional work, Kwame is an active member of several community organizations. Kwame was appointed a Community Champion of the Global Shapers Community, World Economic Forum, leading the US-Midwest. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Cleveland Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), where he is the inaugural International Affairs Committee Chair. Kwame holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, where he was awarded the prestigious Mandel Leadership Fellowship and a bachelor's degree from the University of Ghana. Beyond his professional and community work, Kwame enjoys public speaking, music, dance, and poetry.
