Jeremy Ford is the Vice President of Global Giving and Social Innovation within Dell Technologies' Corporate Affairs team. The Corporate Affairs team guides Dell’s commitment to drive human progress by putting its technology and expertise to work where it can do the most good for people and the planet. Jeremy brings a deep knowledge of technology to this role and is passionate about applying Dell’s technology, expertise, funding and volunteerism toward helping communities overcome challenges and thrive. Prior to joining the Corporate Affairs team, Jeremy was the General Manager and Executive Director responsible for growing and enabling Dell’s global Cloud Services business. Jeremy and his team drove Dell’s industry-leading Cloud Partner Ecosystem of public cloud providers as well as focused on making Dell a leader in hosted and managed private cloud, including Workspace as a Service (VDI). Prior to this role, Jeremy was the Portfolio Director, Cloud Services, and led the global team responsible for defining and enabling Dell’s Cloud Services portfolio. Previously, he served as a Senior Technology Strategist in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and led industry enablement of Dell’s alternative end-user computing initiative. Acted as technical consultant in establishing Dell’s corporate public policy direction, specifically in the areas of net neutrality and analog white-space Jeremy brings to Dell over 24 years of management and engineering experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Dell in September 2000, he worked at Compaq Computer Corporation. Holds a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University as well as six US patents.
