Dr. Zhu Jing is a Cheung Kong Chair Professor and Dean of College of Economics and Management, Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), China. Ph.D obtained in NAU before joined International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) of the CGIAR as a post-doctoral research fellow, with also training received in Australia, the Netherlands, and the United States. Research areas include agricultural and rural development, food security, and international trade. A widely published author and recipient of awards for research achievements, with a series of key research projects from authoritative national research foundations as well as government agencies been undertaken. Currently, Chairman of the Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management Disciplinary Appraisal Committee of the State Council Academic Commission of China, member of the Advisory Committee of Higher Education for Economics and Trade of the Ministry of Education of China, member of the Expertise Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, and member of the Board of Trustees of ILRI, CGIAR.
