Joel Moser

Professor of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University

Joel Moser is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AQM Capital LLC, a global institutional investor and manager of private equity in the real asset classes of energy, infrastructure and core real estate, and Founding Chief Executive Officer of Aquamarine Investment Partners Ltd. He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs where he teaches international infrastructure development and investment. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Columbia University Global Energy Policy Center, a founding member of the Americas Council of the International Project Finance Association and a founding member of the Advisory Board of BellAziz Master Holdings Limited. He is the founding editor of Global Infrastructure and he served as member of the Brookings Institution Governance Center's study group on sovereign wealth funds and as infrastructure advisor to the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. Prior to founding AQM Capital and launching Aquamarine Investment Partners, he was a partner and energy and infrastructure group leader at several global law firms and recognized as a leading individual in his field by Chambers and Partners. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bankstreet College and Vice Chair of the Board of the Children's Museum of the East End. He resides in New York City and Sag Harbor with his wife Dr. Wednesday Martin, an author and cultural anthropologist, and their two children.
