Graduate in Civil Engineering, McGill University. Over 50 years' experience in development of public infrastructure in Canada and internationally. Serves on community boards, cultural and public affairs. Member of the Board of the Royal Conservatory of Music, and a member of the board of Chartered Public Accountants of Ontario. He is also a member of the Advisory Council for the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary. He was previously Chairman of the Board of the Ontario Power Authority as well as a member of the Board for the Ontario Financing Authority.
