Kristin Rechberger is Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Planet, a company that invests in conservation enterprises, including wilderness protection, sustainable tourism, food-energy-water security, and market transformation towards sustainable sourcing and consumption. Prior, Rechberger was Senior Vice-President of Global Programs & Partnerships at the National Geographic Society, where for 14 years she helped lead worldwide growth of cable channels, corporate partnerships, and research, conservation and exploration programmes. Rechberger serves on the Advisory Council of the Forum of Young Global Leaders, offering guidance on oceans, the shared economy and the future of global development. She also serves on the boards of Pristine Seas, the Ocean Foundation and Children's Eyes on Earth. As a Luce Fellow, Rechberger lived in Seoul, South Korea, where she produced documentary films throughout Asia. She has public policy and documentary film degrees from Duke University and has taken executive courses at Harvard and Yale.
