Jaewoong Lee is Chief Executive of Socar, one of the largest carsharing company in the world. At the same time, he has been focusing on building impact investment ecosystem since 2008 after resigning from the CEO position of the public Internet media company he founded, Daum Communications. He is founder of Mediati, a media startup incubator, Yellowdog, an impact venture capital, Sopoong, a social venture incubator and many other companies in impact investment field. His interests are sharing economy, collaborative consumption, impact philanthropy and sustainable innovative growth. He is also serving as the Head of Innovation Growth Center of Korean Government. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Computer Science from Yonsei University, Seoul. Prior to founding Daum in 1995, Lee spent several years conducting research in cognitive science.
