Lisa Witter is an award-winning executive, entrepreneur, writer and public speaker. She is an expert in the intersections of communications, government, politics, technology and behavior change. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Apolitical: the first global impact network for government. Prior to Apolitical, Lisa founded Assemblyfor, applying behavioural science to policy and social change and sister organization, Without Violence, a communications support hub for advocates and policy makers. Previously she was COO and Partner of Fenton, the largest public interest communications firm in the US. She is co-author of "The She Spot: Why Women are the Marketing for Changing the World and How to Reach Them” and is a regular commentator and moderator for numerous media outlets and global conferences. She has worked in government for the Seattle City Council and has co-founded numerous political training institutes around the world. She is a World Economic Young Forum Global Leader and sits on the Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Behaviour. She serves on a board for the U.S. Government's National Academy of Science and Engineering focused on violence prevention. She has sat on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards including one publicly traded company. An American, she currently resides in Berlin, is married to a German tech entrepreneur and is a soccer mom of two young boys and is an obsessive reader and outdoors junkie.
