Former: Manager, Environment Program, International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development; Director, Chinese Ecosystem Research Network; Deputy Director-General, Bureau of Resources and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Deputy Secretary, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); Chief, Climate Change Adaptation Unit, United Nations Environment Programme. Currently, Chief Scientist and Acting Director, Science Division, United Nations Environment Programme.
